Reporting to the Technical Support Supervisor, the Customer Support Specialist is responsible for

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Communicate directly with customers, sales reps, and distributors via telephone, electronically or face to face
  • Hold accountability for the sale and maintenance of new and existing service contracts
  • Recommend changes in services and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments
  • Manage field service scheduling, coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales and service efforts
  • Manage return of customer and loaner analyzers and parts
  • Manage XOS loaner fleet
  • Manage field service inventory levels

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • A strong customer service and sales mindset, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, as well as sales and service teams globally

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access

  • Self-motivation, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well within a team

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • 1–3 years of sales experience (preferred)

  • Experience in scheduling and communicating with customers

  • Exposure to working in a technical or industrial environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $20 - $26 USD per hour.
