Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Returns Technician to join our team.
In this role you will be expected to demonstrate excellence in key areas, including, quality, precision, collaboration, and reliability.
What You’ll Be Doing:
The Returns Technician III is responsible for performing complex troubleshooting and repairs of returned computer products, with or without build plan, depending on availability.
Prepare returned product for disassembly. De-integrate returned computer products.
Performs software loading, product testing and system configuration.
Process and transfer product. Perform Eval/Triage repair. Re-integrate products.
Conduct on-the-job training of other Technicians as it pertains to company work methods, processing procedures, and skill development. Serve as first level technical escalation for area technicians.
What We Are Looking For:
Typically requires a 2 year degree and 2–4 years of experience or High school graduate with equivalent related experience. May require specific certifications.
Has developed knowledge and skills through formal training or considerable work experience.
Entry level often for those with work experience in the skill area.
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.
Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions.
