Job description

Job Overview: You’d make an excellent Commercial Loan Service Analyst if you consider yourself highly detailed, enjoy working independently on a variety of tasks, take pride in your work, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for:

  • Internal customer support for loan assistants and loan officers resulting in a high level of service to our loan customers
  • Research requests to support loan documents and payment processing
  • Complete new loan funding requests for our customers
  • Processing loan transactions
  • Processing incoming and outgoing wires for Loan Operations
  • Reconciling daily reports for accuracy and error detection
  • Reconciliation of lending DDAs and GLs to ensure timely postings
  • Perform file maintenance necessary to ensure accurate loan calculations, billings, and history
  • Inputting data, reviewing information for accuracy and preparing reports for monthly review
  • Process monthly pool, swap, participation, and construction loan remittances and reporting
  • Acquisition loan onboarding
  • Ongoing updates to processes and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing amongst the team

Requirements for the position include:

  • A high school diploma (or equivalent)
  • A strong proficiency in both Word and Excel computer programs
  • Basic accounting skills along with excellent accuracy and communication skills
  • The ability to review loan documentation and ensure proper posting and file maintenance to loans
  • The ability to work flexible and/or late hours

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Minimum one year lending experience
