About the Role
The University’s College of Education, Psychology and Social Work requires an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning and preparation of a Movember-funded mental health project.
Informed by a trial conducted with South Australian emergency service personnel (https://www.flinders.edu.au/perei), we will now determine the feasibility and requirements of embedding in organisations future strategies and processes to protect the mental health of emergency responders. The Project Manager will have a strategic role in this next phase, including project design, strategy and implementation, analysis of data and the preparation of the final report.
The Project Manager will work very closely with current and future partner organisations and stakeholders to understand existing resources, operations and capabilities. The goal will be to determine which components of the mental health programs can be delivered feasibly and sustainably, to identify training needs, and to evaluate the personnel and other infrastructure required for successful implementation of new or improved programs. The role will involve analysing the strengths and limitations of the current trial and assessing whether they are fit for purpose.
