We’re seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our growing eCommerce business. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in accounting and financial operations within the eCommerce or CPG space—especially with high-volume Amazon sellers. You'll take ownership of financial oversight across multiple channels, lead month-end close processes, and ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all accounting functions including forecasting, budgeting, and month-end close
Analyze sales performance and financial data across Amazon Seller Central and other sales channels
Manage inventory costing and perform regular reconciliations
Ensure full tax compliance, including sales tax, nexus tracking, and reporting requirements
Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and leadership to optimize financial processes
Identify and resolve chargebacks, reconciliation issues, and accounting discrepancies
Provide insights to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

5+ years in a Financial Controller or similar accounting/finance role
Proven experience in eCommerce, preferably with high-volume Amazon sales or CPG
Expert-level proficiency with NetSuite ERP
Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central workflows, including chargebacks, payment flows, and reconciliation
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Experience with Shopify, Walmart Marketplace, or other DTC/marketplace platforms
Prior experience managing remote teams or working in a fully distributed environment

Applications/Software

NetSuite ERP – Must have strong command.
Amazon Seller Central – Deep understanding of:
- Sales flows
- Chargebacks
- Reconciliation
Shopify – DTC platform.
Walmart Marketplace – Additional sales channel experience.
Other DTC or Marketplace Channels – (e.g., eBay, Target Plus, etc.)
