Job description

This is a remote position.

Work schedule:
  • 40 hours a week
  • Mon Tues and Thurs: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Break: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday & Sunday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Break: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • (All times are Eastern Standard Time – EST)

Job Title: Customer Support Representative (with Sales & Appointment Setting Background Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads generated by our digital marketing campaigns—aiming to contact potential clients within 5–10 minutes of their inquiry
  • Conduct friendly and informative outreach calls to potential clients to introduce our services and gather basic information
  • Answer client inquiries via phone, email, or chat with professionalism and empathy
  • Schedule appointments for senior sales advisors or specialists to conduct more in-depth consultations
  • Utilize downtime effectively by performing light outbound follow-up calls to warm leads
  • Collect and document basic financial information to help assess clients' potential eligibility for our services
  • Guide clients through the early stages of the engagement process with clarity and patience
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and lead status updates within our CRM
  • Follow up with prospects to answer any outstanding questions or re-engage cold leads
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of appointments and client information

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a calm, confident phone presence
  • Previous experience in a customer support, administrative, or appointment setting role
  • Some sales background is preferred, especially in financial services or consultative environments
  • A genuine desire to help clients, with a customer-first mindset
  • Ability to explain services clearly and patiently to individuals in varying financial situations
  • Comfortable handling objections and basic FAQs, while knowing when to escalate
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital tools for communication and task tracking
  • Self-starter who can work independently while adhering to guidelines and timelines
  • Open to completing a brief certification or training process (approx. 2 hours)
  • Professional, empathetic, and resilient when handling multiple inquiries or challenges
