We are seeking an experienced Central Operational Excellence Manager for our Operational Excellence Team to be responsible to evolve the sites to deliver improvements in Cost/Margin while developing our operational maturity and competency. This role is crucial to act as the central subject matter expert, gatekeeper and custodian of Operational Excellence tools, processes, and Blueprints within a group of BUs.
 

About The Role: Deliver Operational Excellence
Responsibilities:

• Deliver improvements in Margin, Yield and cost reduction to ensure deliver targets of annual plan (aligned to longer term strategy plan)

• Ensure work to annual cycle to perform diagnostic activity and generate projects in pipeline to deliver in year targets for both Euro & CO2 savings.

• Develop competency within the BU teams to deliver the annual plan and perform good quality diagnostic to shape following years plans.

• Ensure strong business performance management across all sites – aligned to blueprint standard.

• Lead complex cross company, BU, cross functional or end 2 end projects- as agreed by the Global Operational Excellence leader and Director.

• Training of tools, processes and blueprints to the BU operational Excellence Managers and the site teams.

Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, food, feed or technical field. (Master’s degree preferred).

• Proven experience or sound exposure to operational Excellence subjects.

• Experience in Quality and Health Safety Environment systems.

• Experience with Operational Excellence programs (Lean, TPM, 6 Sigma…)  with associated certification is an advantage.

• Fluency in English and effectively communicating to support sites in scope of role. Spanish is a plus.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

• Soft skills like analytical strength, collaboration, ability to work in both management and leadership levels and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
