Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Jira Administrator to manage, optimize, and scale our Atlassian ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Jira administration, migrations, scheme management, workload optimization, and automation to ensure seamless collaboration and efficiency across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
  • Perform migrations between Jira instances (Cloud, Data Center, or Server) while ensuring data integrity.
  • Design and manage Jira schemes (workflows, permission schemes, field configurations, screen schemes).
  • Optimize workloads at scale, ensuring performance and stability for enterprise-level environments.
  • Develop and manage custom automation and scripting using ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira, and REST APIs.
  • Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
  • Administer user roles, permissions, security settings, and integrations with third-party tools.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and documentation for best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Jira Administrator managing large-scale environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Jira configurations, workflows, and custom scripting (ScriptRunner, Groovy, or APIs).
  • Experience with Jira migrations (Server to Cloud, Data Center to Cloud).
  • Familiarity with Confluence administration and its integration with Jira.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery best practices for Jira.
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimizing Jira for scalability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with engineering, product, and IT teams.
