Position Summary:

The Helpdesk Technician plays a critical role in supporting the operational efficiency of Credit Management Company by engaging in real-time IT projects and serving on the front lines of the IT department. This position offers broad exposure to areas such as network and phone administration, user and security access, backup and recovery operations, and system monitoring.


Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Monitor the helpdesk system and assign tickets efficiently to appropriate individuals or teams.
  • Provide first-level support for helpdesk tickets, including password resets, account unlocks, application and system issues, and troubleshooting Windows and VPN-related problems.
  • Assist with basic hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support for phone and computer-related issues.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires, including device configuration and account setup.
  • Import daily data files into company systems and ensure accuracy through quality assurance checks.
  • Document processes and procedures thoroughly for reference and continuity.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: 

  • Strong general technical knowledge required.
  • Experience with CUBS software is a plus but not required.

Education: 

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or information science preferred.  
Salary Description
$19-20 an hour
