Description


Solers Research Group (SolersRG), headquartered in Central Florida, provides sound instructional design in the development of training products for the Department of Defense, Federal and State governments, and commercial organizations. SolersRG is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) with Department of Defense (DoD) experience. We are seeking a self-motivated, driven, and highly organized individual for this position. 


Education: Master’s Degree or equivalent in Education, Training, Instructional Technologies, or related field (Certificate in Instructional Design a plus)


Experience: At least four (4) years of experience, including experience in front-end analyses.


Requirements
  • Effectively apply instructional design methodologies and best practices to translate a client’s business into effective learning solutions.
  • Participate in a directed team supporting various task analyses and data collection methods. 
  • When requested, support the team with organizing and executing working groups of military subject matter experts as a data collection method.
  • Collate and enter data from existing government-provided information (e.g., existing training materials) into spreadsheets, take notes during workshops and meetings, and collect, collate, and document survey results.
  • Ensure quality and standards are maintained across all deliverables.
  • Present professional customer service and appearance to all – internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in MS Office 365 Outlook, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel in an advanced manner.
  • Experience using the ADDIE methodology for instructional design. 
  • U.S. Navy experience 
  • Work from a schedule, track progress, and report on status with minimal supervision.
  • Work well as part of a virtual team, internal and external to the company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices, methods, and processes to analyze training needs, knowledge gaps, job duty tasks, and media analysis to develop effective learning outcomes.
  • Front-end analysis experience.
