Job description

This is a remote position.

We are building a scalable real estate rental platform for the Canadian market and are looking for a Senior NestJS Backend Developer to join our team.

You will work on a live product that integrates with Zoho CRM, Twilio, AWS, OTP flows, calendar scheduling, real-time chat, and more.
You will be responsible for building clean, scalable, and testable backend services with a strong focus on performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop RESTful APIs using NestJS and TypeScript
Implement authentication flows (OTP, magic link, social logins)
Work with PostgreSQL, optimize DB queries and schema
Collaborate with frontend (React/Flutter) and mobile teams via clear API contracts (Swagger)
Integrate with Zoho CRM, AWS (S3, EC2, RDS), Twilio, Google Maps
Build microservice-compatible modules with clean separation
Handle error tracking, logging, and validation
Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, and task estimations
Write unit and integration tests
Document APIs, workflows, and architecture
