Job description

Beanstalk seeks a Royalty Auditor to handle all aspects of royalty compliance.  We are looking for someone with prior experience conducting licensing audits with a clear understanding of royalty compliance and accounting practices. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Follow all existing audit procedures to handle licensee audits
  • Work directly with members of the Audit Division, Beanstalk Brand Managers (US and UK) and Clients to develop and manage client specific audit plans
  • Independently handle audits for other major Brands in the Auditing portfolio
  • Work with Legal, Contract Administration and Royalty Management departments to understand legal and contractual implications to audits
  • Liaise with the US and UK brand functions to identify, schedule and perform licensee audits


The successful candidate should be able to carry out royalty audits independently and will report to the SVP Audit Services. Their work will include the complete planning and execution of audits, including the drafting of reports and assisting clients settle audits. They will have to demonstrate both individual initiative as well as work within teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Business Studies required, ACA or equivalent qualification preferred but not required, 3-5 years of royalty audit experience in licensing preferred  (i.e. - Entertainment, Music, Sports, Publishing or Brand Licensing Organization). Other applicable backgrounds include royalty accounting, forensic accounting or internal auditing. Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting practices required.  Job requires strong analytical skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills.

Position requires 30-40% travel.
