Job description

A Day in the Life and the Impact You’ll Make:

As an integral part of DEKRA North America’s high-performing Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator supports the development and execution of lead-generation campaigns and assists in the day-to-day coordination of the marketing calendar. This position helps build the company’s market presence across all relevant channels and platforms with a digital-first mindset. The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Marketing and provides support to cross-functional teams such as demand generation, Sales, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a motivated early-career marketing professional with a strong interest in digital marketing and B2B strategy. The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support the Marketing Director in implementing go-to-market plans, lead-generation strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate updates and tasks related to the marketing calendar and support its execution across digital and traditional channels.
  • Assist in driving awareness, engagement, and the generation of qualified marketing leads using top and mid-funnel strategies.
  • Help develop and publish content aligned with the buyer’s journey and campaign goals.
  • Assist with marketing automation and lead nurturing activities through email workflows, campaigns, and templates.
  • Support and monitor DEKRA NA’s social media. Assist in scheduling, posting, and reporting on campaigns.
  • Gather and report on campaign performance metrics and support regular reporting to marketing leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help ensure alignment on marketing and thought leadership initiatives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, ideally within the Testing, Inspection, Certification, Audit, Sustainability, or Professional Services industries.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Any certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce) are a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, or other email marketing tools is preferred.
  • Comfortable using social media platforms like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Meta; experience with Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning marketing best practices and supporting marketing campaign success.

Physical Considerations:

  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including virtual video-based calls

Travel Considerations:

  • Domestic travel required, estimated up to 3-4 times a year

What You’ll Receive for the Value You Bring:

Compensation: 

The base pay for this position ranges from $60,000 annually up to $72,000 annually.  Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
