Portfolio owner of assigned products, work with Marketing, Project Management and R&D to define product roadmap (cost, spec and look&feel) and launch calendar.
Lead new project RFQ process, work with cross-function owners, including R&D, SCM, Quality, Project Management, Commodity Team etc., to define supplier allocation proposal based on their cost, delivery, quality, technical assessment and responsiveness.
Early involvement on component and material selection to maximum Philips’ benefit.
New Product Introduction (NPI) project team member, to support on-target launch.
Continuously drive cost down by DfX/VE workshop, new technology/platform discussion, and supplier base optimization.

You are...

Science and engineering background, bachelor is a must.
5+ years of working experiences in purchasing in electronics industry.
Familiar with cost modelling analysis, and follow up with negotiation implementation.
Can work under high pressure.
Good at communication and people influence skill.
Fluent written and oral English.
Working experiences in LED lighting industry is preferred.
