As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality, innovative software products that drive business growth. You will set the technical direction, build high-performing teams, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.

Your Role & Responsibilities

In the capacity of Senior Engineering Manager, you will oversee multiple engineering teams, promoting a culture of technical excellence, agility, and innovation.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Defining & Leading the Engineering Vision – Spearhead the technical strategy, drive platform evolution, and modernize our software ecosystem. Shape the adoption of cloud technologies, API-first development, automation, and the maturation of DevOps practices.

• Owning Sub-Domain Level OKRs – Collaborate closely with Product, Design, UX, and Commercial teams to co-manage objectives, ensuring that engineering initiatives are aligned with overarching business goals.

• Managing High-Performing Global Teams – Lead teams across India, the UK, and the US, ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions within an agile framework.

• Hiring & Talent Development – Cultivate, mentor, and develop premier engineering talent, nurturing a culture of learning, inclusion, and career advancement.

• Technical Excellence & Architecture Alignment – Partner with Architects and Principal Engineers to establish best practices in distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native design, API strategy, and front-end development.

• Driving Automation & DevOps Best Practices – Advocate for CI/CD pipelines, cloud transformation, and platform engineering principles, ensuring robust observability, security, and cost efficiency.

• Engineering Governance & Innovation – Continuously enhance engineering processes, improve team productivity, and reduce technical debt, promoting a shift-left approach and industry-leading software development methodologies.

• Stakeholder Collaboration – Collaborate with Product, UX, and business leaders to influence platform roadmaps, balancing the priorities of speed, scalability, and reliability.

• Hands-On Leadership – Engage closely with technological aspects, providing technical mentorship, contributing to architectural decisions, and ensuring the adherence to engineering best practices.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing global teams.

• Demonstrable experience as an Engineering Manager (senior), Lead Engineer, or Technical Manager, handling complex engineering projects.

• Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud architecture (GCP & Azure), microservices, API design, and scalable platform engineering.

• Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with .NET, Python, Spark, Git (GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud development (GCP & Azure).

• Familiarity with React.js.

• Profound understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and best practices in cloud security.

• Proven ability to establish engineering strategies, enhance processes, and exhibit high-velocity agile execution.

• Experience in recruiting, mentoring, and managing global teams across various time zones.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making abilities, collaborating cross-functionally with PMs, UX, and Business Leaders.
