Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant located in Kuala Lumpur. The Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks such as maintaining and reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and managing budgets. They will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, preparing tax filings, and collaborating with external auditors.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and tax preparation
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Relevant professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA preferred
Experience working with SMEs or in a startup environment is a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
XERO and Quickbooks software is a must for integration
