Senior SQA Engineer

• Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
• Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
• Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
• Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
• Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
• Reviewed product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are correct, unambiguous, and verifiable
• Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements and performance requirements of overall system
• Define test scenarios/cases for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements under both normal and abnormal conditions
• Recommend design improvements or corrections to engineers throughout the development process
• Participate in agile scrums
• Identify and track abnormal software/system behaviors within tracking system
• Review and validate fixes
• Communicate and coordinate with peers and senior-level individuals in cross-functional groups to articulate and compare alternative testing approaches
• API testing using Postman
• Test the application with respect to the provided user/client requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.
• 3 years’ experience as a QA engineer.
• High-level analytical skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
• Hands on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Github, Bug Tracker, Mantis BT, Trac, JIRA
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage projects.
• Detail oriented.
