What you’ll do
You will be a key member of the EMEA Cloud Technology Team – Strategy & Operations (S&O) with a focus on program management.This is a regional role and can be based from locations in any EMEA country. Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Understand EMEA’s regulatory landscape to drive SAP’s end-to-end cloud deployment strategy for the region
- Work with Cloud Security & Compliance (EMEA), Customer Success function to Identify regulatory challenges to SAP’s cloud business in EMEA such as data residency and cybersecurity regulations (e.g. EU, KSA, UAE). Assess impact and approach to sustain and grow our cloud business.
Support Point of Presence Cases for the region
- Work with account teams to consolidate input for Point of Presence (PoP) business cases for confirmed coverage needs to accelerate the availability of SAP cloud solutions for EMEA customers, secure market segments and be ahead of competitor offerings.
Insight / Content Development
- Stay up to date on regional regulations, e.g. data privacy laws, cybersecurity regulations
- Support in the buildout and/or curation of Cloud Technology content aligned with EMEA’s Regulatory Landscape and SAP’s solution deployment roadmap of EMEA countries.
- Share insights via EMEA Cloud Technology S&O Team’s Internal SharePoint page.
Technical Project/Program Management
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects/programs, ensuring successful outcomes, optimized processes, and value creation for stakeholders. The role fosters cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality, technically robust solutions, while adhering to best practices and delivering high-quality solutions.
- Provide direction to the field with respect to managing our customers, partners, and overall business impacts across the region during cloud delivery deployment projects.
- Support in building program governance, project planning activities and manage the execution of projects according to plan
- Act as a central point of contact regarding all project / program related queries
- Deliver / support reporting and risk management within program scope
- Comprehensive understanding of SAP’s:
- Cloud portfolio offerings
- Cloud deployment strategy and process (CC+1 & hyperscalers)
- Cloud delivery locations
- SAP’s Master Cloud Customer Agreement, SAP Cloud Policies, DPAs, etc.
- Solution Areas and availability
- Tenant provisioning
- Contractual terms and conditions /Legal
What you bring
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a comprehensive understanding of SAP ́s strategy and SAP ́s product and cloud delivery portfolio. Additionally, an individual who demonstrates an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with exceptional communication skills, as well as strategic thinking and business acumen.
Other qualifications include:
- 5+ years of working experience with a proven track record in program management or related area in operations leading large scale, high risk, or strategic projects
- Field experience in sales, services, or success delivery a plus
- Experience with business case creation, analysis, and research
- Strong presentation skills to both internal and external stakeholders
- Cloud Architecture knowledge
- Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables such as, project charter, project management plan, status reports, project timesheets, communications plan, and schedule
- Fluency in English is a prerequisite, further EMEA relevant languages are a plus
