About the Role:

As a Veterinary Technician at Alamo Dog & Cat Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, ensuring the health and well-being of pets. Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent.
Experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology.
Certification in specialized areas such as anesthesia or emergency care.
Experience with exotic animals or wildlife.
License Veterinary Technician current in the state of Texas

Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and recovery.
Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans for their pets.
