Supervise and implement Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective measures.
Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees and subcontractors to enhance workplace safety awareness.
Monitor and enforce the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing reports and recommending preventive actions.
Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, conducting regular drills and training exercises.
Ensure all HSE documentation, including permits, safety reports, and compliance records, are maintained and updated.
Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
Stay updated on local and international HSE regulations (OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO 45001) and ensure company compliance.
Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility across all levels of the organization.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
4-5 years of experience in HSE supervision, preferably in construction, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification is mandatory.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of HSE regulations, risk management, and workplace safety best practices.
Excellent leadership and supervisory skills to enforce safety policies.
Ability to conduct training sessions and safety awareness programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle workplace hazards.
Proficiency in HSE management systems, audits, and incident reporting.
Effective communication and report-writing skills for documentation and compliance tracking.
