Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and creative DTP (Desktop Publishing) Editor to join our team. This role involves designing, formatting, and editing documents for publication to ensure they meet high standards of visual appeal and accuracy. The ideal candidate will undergo a 15-day intensive training period, during which they will receive in-depth knowledge of our services and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and format research papers, reports, brochures, and other documents for publication.
Ensure all documents meet visual and formatting standards.
Collaborate with authors, editors, and other team members to produce high-quality publications.
Edit and proofread documents for visual consistency and accuracy.
Use desktop publishing software to create visually appealing layouts.
Maintain high design standards and adhere to publication guidelines.
Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines consistently.
Stay updated with industry trends and apply best practices in desktop publishing.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, Communications, or a related field.

Proven experience in desktop publishing or graphic design.

Proficiency in desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Publisher).

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for design.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to undergo a 15-day unpaid training period.
