Austin, TX (Hybrid – 4 days remote, 1 day onsite on Mondays)

Note: Candidates must be local to the Austin area. The manager is not considering candidates who need to relocate. State experience is required.

Job Description:

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Business Analyst 3 to support a Web-based Power Apps platform used by internal and external agency partners. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business analysis, SQL, system reporting, system testing, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with delivery teams and application users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and system design for required modifications.
Work closely with technical teams for system demos, UAT coordination, code releases, and user communication.
Coordinate with project/product management teams for planning and execution.
Provide on-call support as required during project phases.
