The Assets Management Specialist is responsible for the management, deployment, tracking. and maintenance of trade assets, ensuring optimal utilization to support sales and marketing strategies. This role involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to enhance trade asset efficiency, reduce losses, and drive brand visibility at the point of sales.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Asset Management
Develop\nand implement strategies for the effective allocation, maintenance, and\nretrieval of trade assets (e.g., refrigerators, display racks, POS materials,\netc.).
Ensure\nproper documentation, tagging, and inventory management of trade assets.
Monitor\nasset utilization to ensure alignment with business objectives and return on\ninvestment (ROI).
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work\nclosely with sales and marketing teams to determine asset needs in various\nmarkets.
Coordinate\nwith suppliers and vendors for the procurement, servicing, and disposal of\ntrade assets.
Liaise\nwith finance teams to track asset depreciation and ensure compliance with\ncompany policies.
Performance Monitoring & Compliance
Conduct\nregular audits and inspections to assess the condition and placement of trade\nassets.
Analyze\ndata to track asset effectiveness and provide reports with insights and recommendations.
Ensure\ncompliance with company policies and regulatory requirements regarding trade\nassets.
Process Improvement & Cost Management
Identify\nopportunities to optimize trade asset allocation and reduce losses or\nmisplacements.
Develop\nand implement best practices for trade asset management to improve efficiency\nand cost-effectiveness.
Establish\npreventive maintenance schedules to prolong asset lifespan.
Requirements
Bachelor’s\ndegree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in trade asset\nmanagement, sales operations, or retail asset management, preferably in FMCG,\nmanufacturing, or retail industries.
Strong\nanalytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency\nin asset tracking tools and ERP systems.
Excellent\ncommunication and negotiation skills.
Ability\nto manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
Detail-oriented\nwith strong organizational and project management skills.
