Licensed ESE Educator (SPED) – Amazing Opportunity!

Our organization is actively looking for a full-time Special Education Teacher for the current academic year. This role guarantees full-time hours through the end of the school year, with the possibility of renewal based on performance.

In this position, you will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in a self-contained classroom, ensuring their unique learning needs are met. The ideal candidate will work closely with parents, caregivers, and school staff to create personalized strategies that foster student growth. Additionally, participation in district-led professional development sessions will be expected.

Position Brief:

Requirements

All candidates must showcase a solid background as a Special Education Teacher or in a similar capacity, with expertise in handling diverse caseloads. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is required, while a master’s degree is highly preferred. To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a current Kentucky Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement in special education, as no other certifications will be accepted.
