As a Manhattan Active WMS Project Manager, you will focus on managing all aspects of the delivery of customers' Manhattan Active WMS implementation. Responsibilities include developing and executing detailed project plans and proposals for large clients, managing the project budget and resources, collaborating with cross-functional teams, being the trusted advisor to the client, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality deliverables on budget.

What you will do:
- WMS Implementation Planning:
- Lead the planning and initiation phase of WMS implementation projects, including scoping, resource allocation, and timeline development.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan, considering dependencies, risks, and contingencies.
- Project Monitoring and Control:
- Track project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and risks to stakeholders and executive management.
- Monitor project budget, resource utilization, and timelines to ensure adherence to project constraints.
- Team Leadership:
- Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, consisting of business analysts, developers, subject matter experts, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
- Requirements Analysis and Solution Design:
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering and analysis to understand business needs and align them with WMS capabilities.
- Work closely with business users and subject matter experts to define system requirements, workflows, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to design an optimal WMS solution that meets business requirements.
- WMS Implementation and Configuration:
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and testing of the Manhattan Associates Active WMS platform to align with business processes and requirements.
- Manage all aspects of the implementation project, including system configuration, integration with other systems, data migration, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure compliance with project governance, change management processes, and industry best practices.
- Application and Integration Testing:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for the WMS implementation, including unit testing, system testing, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure that all system components are thoroughly tested and meet functional and performance requirements.
- Identify and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders to validate the system against business requirements and obtain sign-off for implementation.
- Training and Documentation:
- Develop and execute training plans for end-users, ensuring smooth adoption and effective utilization of the WMS system.
- Create comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Go-Live Preparation and Readiness:
- Lead the go-live preparation activities, ensuring that all necessary components are in place for a successful system launch.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a detailed go-live plan, including cutover activities, data migration, and user training.
- Coordinate with the IT infrastructure team to ensure the availability and readiness of hardware, networks, and system environments.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to validate system functionality and data integrity before go-live.
- Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to address potential issues during the go-live phase.
- Provide guidance and support to end-users during the transition period, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Monitor system performance and user feedback post-go-live, making necessary adjustments and enhancements to ensure a smooth operational transition.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration) is preferred
- 5+ years in Supply Chain Consulting
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, leading successful Manhattan Associates WMS implementation projects, preferably with Active WMS
- Strong understanding of WMS concepts, functionality, and best practices
- Excellent project management skills, including project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive project deliverables
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Travel expectations up to 50%
