Job description

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with GCP to join one of our teams - DevOps Hub.

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES

Develop automation frameworks (Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines) and tooling that will be consumed by the entire engineering organization.
Identify roadblocks and inefficiencies in the current workflow, and work with teams to plan and remediate improvements.
Manage incidents and incident responses to ensure proper follow-up and mitigation.
Support legacy technologies and be a part of the solution in migrating them to cloud-native solutions.

OUR EXPECTATIONS

Proven experience in managing both on-premises and cloud infrastructures, particularly in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Extensive experience with large-scale Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform.
Good understanding of virtualization and containerization;
Proficiency in CI/CD automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Argo Workflows, Gitlab Pipelinе;
Experience with ensuring the reliability and availability of data storage systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail;
A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement;
Bachelor's degree in computer science studies;
Fluent in English.

CONSIDERED A PLUS

Hands-on experience in fixing OS-level vulnerabilities, Security Command Center, DDoS protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and SAST/DAST
Experience with serverless event-driven architectures and data streaming, including Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Workflows, and Eventarc.
Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks.
Knowledge of data warehouse architecture such as big query/big table.
