The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Manager - Accounts Payable.

Principal Purpose of Position:

  • Lead and manage daily operations across three Accounts Payable teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of accounts payable staff to ensure departmental effectiveness and alignment with company goals
  • Enforce internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure the integrity of financial data
  • Oversee all North American payment processes (ACH, EDI, EFT, wire, check, and card), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve payment issues through root cause analysis and process optimization.
  • Ensure timely and professional handling of vendor inquiries to maintain strong relationships.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and enforce compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Manage MBWE (Minority, Business, Women Enterprise) and vendor spend reporting to support strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals.
  • Provide documentation and insights for internal and external audits.
  • Oversee the travel and expense reporting system, ensuring timely reconciliation and policy adherence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., procurement, finance, operations) to streamline processes and enhance financial workflows.
  • Ensure business continuity plans are established and maintained for uninterrupted operations.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and/or Training:

  • BS in Accounting/Finance required.

Relevant Work Experience:

  • Internal:  Minimum 5 years of Holman experience in Finance or Operational roles
  • External:  Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an Accounts Payable/Financial Reporting capacity.
  • Experience with implementing internal controls and process improvements
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and the MS suite of products

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $97,450.00 - $141,300.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
