We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Electrician to join our client’s vehicle maintenance team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in vehicles, including wiring, lighting, ignition systems, electronic fuel injection systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in vehicles, including cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.
Install and maintain electrical components such as alternators, batteries, starters, and wiring harnesses.
Test electrical systems using multimeters, diagnostic tools, and circuit diagrams.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, relays, fuses, and switches.
Calibrate and repair electronic control units (ECUs), sensors, and modules.
Perform preventive maintenance on vehicle electrical systems.
Collaborate with mechanics and other technicians to ensure seamless vehicle servicing.
Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Stay updated on latest automotive technologies and diagnostic techniques.
ITI/Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience as an Auto Electrician in a workshop, dealership, or fleet maintenance setting.
Valid driver’s license (preferred).
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and diagnostic procedures.
Ability to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment.
Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physically fit to handle workshop tasks.
