We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Gas Systems Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the safe operation, inspection, and maintenance of gas stations, pipelines, air compressors, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical know-how in gas line management, instrumentation, and safety protocols. This role involves supervising maintenance teams, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring uninterrupted and compliant operations.
Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of gas stations, air compressors, and air pumps.
Operate, inspect, and maintain gas pipelines, regulators, pressure relief valves, and flow control systems.
Oversee repair and preventive maintenance of valves, manifolds, and control systems in the gas network.
Monitor and calibrate control and measuring instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, and gas analyzers.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and gas handling procedures according to industry standards.
Coordinate emergency repairs and conduct root cause analysis for equipment malfunctions.
Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance activities, and safety inspections.
Train and lead maintenance technicians in safe and efficient work practices.
Report operational status and maintenance updates to engineering and safety departments.
Assist in budgeting, procurement of spare parts, and scheduling of major maintenance projects.
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering or related field
Certification or training in gas safety operations (preferred)
Minimum 4–7 years of experience in gas systems operation and maintenance
Proven supervisory or team lead experience in an industrial or utility setup
Strong knowledge of gas distribution systems, air compressors, and gas control devices
Proficiency in reading piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), technical drawings, and schematics
Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies
Hands-on skills with tools and diagnostic equipment related to gas networks
Sound understanding of safety codes (e.g., NFPA, OSHA, local regulations)
Effective leadership, decision-making, and team coordination skills
Good communication and documentation abilities
