Project Planning
Monitors and supports as Super User to the following functions: Supply Planning Department, Inventory Co-coordinators and Supply Chain Analysts.
Supports business reporting and advanced analytics through creation and deployment of Daily Dashboards, Supply Trackers.
Global Capacity managements and MS Excel / Power BI / Other.
Implement process re-design and enhancements that promote efficiency and information transparency based on current system.
Acts as communication focal point for all systems related topics within Supply Planning.
Support special projects as directed.
Demand Planning Risk Assessments.
Works cross-functionally with demand planning managers to identify areas of opportunity/improvement, and execute proactive change accordingly.
Works collaboratively to define and refine KPI reporting/tracking – providing resource training to ensure planner are aligned to expectations.
Special Ad-hoc projects.

Knowledge of consumer goods production, operations and industry practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective relationship management with internal & external business partners / customers.
Proven results with building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.

The Demand Planning team is looking for motivated professionals to facilitate the distribution of our great products to customers and consumers. These personnel can analyze production metrics against market needs in Supply & Demand Planning, focus on product transportation through Logistics, or ensure the shelves of your local grocery store are stocked by Direct Store Delivery.
The Associate Demand Planning Systems Manager is responsible for leading the strategy, design, testing, roll-out and performance monitoring for support of Smithfield Demand Planning systems. This role is critical in the roll-out of new functionality and enhancements of existing tools and functionality which support demand planning. This includes but is not limited to: SAP, Logility Planning Solutions, BW/BI, Excel, Anaplan, etc. The Associate Demand Planning Systems Manager is responsible for all projects that involve Demand Planning tool functionality, support of migrating users to new tools, process management creation, and troubleshooting existing issues. Is a super user for demand planning, reporting and deployment. Additionally, this role supports ad-hoc business analytics and reporting to identify trends and support Smithfield’s’ S&OP process.
