Job overview:

As a Senior FP&A Lead for the Europe region, initially covering a leave of absence of another member of the team, you will report into the FP&A Manager and be responsible for producing commercial financial analysis and insights to inform decision making by the management committee.

You will incorporate a mindset of continuous improvement to drive change in finance processes and operations by leading selected projects and initiatives. As a thought partner and strategic advisor, you will create and present analyses and insights to function leadership to actively influence decision-making.

We have recently migrated to a new revenue recognition system, so the role would best suit someone who is comfortable with hands on analysis but who is also keen to understand and improve processes along the way.

Beyond the initial parental leave coverage, the role will transition into a broader business-facing FP&A role, focusing on partnering with practice and market leadership teams on finance and commercial business decision support.

This is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days per week in the office. There is no option to be fully remote

Your primary areas of responsibility will be:

  • Own the production of weekly revenue forecast and month end flash analysis and commentary

  • Support producing month end OPCO management committee reporting pack, including leading on proactive analysis to understand and support messaging across key KPIs (Revenue, Capacity, Headcount, Costs, Investments)

  • Lead the weekly backlog(sold revenue) review,troubleshooting of revenue recognition or reporting issues with Controllership team, embedding a structured reporting cadence

  • Undertake detailed analysis on headcount, utilization and capacity metrics, with partnership from Talent Management colleagues and maintain the Capacity tracker

  • Undertake ad hoc analysis and deep dives on European commercials and economics to inform decision making; and leading on projects to improve Europe-wide financial processes

  • Create interactive dashboards and visual reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making utilising Tableau and other business intelligence tools

  • Support the MIS reporting prioritization agenda, and partnering with Data and Analytics team to drive continued enhancements to the reporting library

Experience Required:

  • You will have at least 8-10 years of commercial Financial Analysis work experience within a multinational commercial organization

  • We will also consider applications from individuals who are currently working within a Big 4 or Top 10 accountancy practice, have been preparing commercial financial analysis for their clients and who are looking to make a move into industry

  • Financial Analysis skills; you will be experienced in preparing financial analysis and impactful storytelling to support business decisions

  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas, pivot tables, and macros, alongside the ability to create structured and impactful presentations in PowerPoint

  • Proficiency with Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools; experience with data visualization is a must.

  • Finance qualification (e.g. CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CPA), plus experience with other ERP tools (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.
