Title: Reliability Engineer

Location: North Kansas City, MO

Reports To: PCM & Reliability Manager
Workplace Type: Onsite

Ingredion is hiring a Reliability Engineer to drive improvements in the performance of maintenance processes by facilitating maintenance/reliability initiatives, executing projects to improve reliability and efficiency, and providing leadership and technical direction within the maintenance function.

What you will do:

• Ensuring plant maintenance activities are executed and coordinated in a cost-effective manner through reduction of waste and improvements in wrench time.
• Conducting analyses of usage rates and equipment criticality to support a comprehensive parts inventory management plan.
• Scoping and evaluating the full extent of maintenance work needed to support reliable performance of production processes.
• Driving the continuous improvement of maintenance systems through the establishment of performance objectives, execution of projects, and sharing of best practices.

What you will bring:

• Strive to quickly resolve day to day maintenance issues while balancing projects and prioritizing work between multiple departments
• Possess the ability to understand baseline knowledge of unit operations to record, share and utilize that knowledge in the maintenance function
• Understand internal customer needs and their connection to the needs of external customers
• Design, plan and execute simple projects
• Utilize your knowledge and experience to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement

Who you are:

• A bachelor’s degree in technical, Engineering or Management.
• Lean Six Sigma belt certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Knowledge of SAP system as it pertains to maintenance and operations
• Strong planning, organizing, project development and time management skills
• Capacity to solve problems through creative, innovative solutions and challenge traditional methods of accomplishing tasks.

Pay Range:

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
