Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Band: 6
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed client’s team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately on a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions
Support patients in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement personalised care plans
Promote independence and improve quality of life for service users
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service audits
Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers

Qualifications and Experiences:

Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration – essential
Experience working within NHS or similar healthcare settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical governance
