Job description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Band: 6
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed client’s team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality occupational therapy services. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately on a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions
  • Support patients in developing, recovering, or maintaining daily living and work skills
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement personalised care plans
  • Promote independence and improve quality of life for service users
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service audits
  • Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration – essential
  • Experience working within NHS or similar healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical governance
