Position Summary

The Vice President of Land Acquisition will lead a professional team in accomplishing the company's annual multifamily real estate development objectives. This role is central to conducting financial analysis, site selection, and creating comprehensive financing packages for both lenders and investors within an assigned market region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investment analysis supporting acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio strategy.
  • Manage and mentor team members, fostering development and performance.
  • Create financial pro forma investment models and manage them for current and potential deals.
  • Develop and present investor and lender financing packages.
  • Conduct and lead market analyses and identify suitable sites for new multifamily development.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with real estate brokers.
  • Provide input in regular development meetings.
  • Gather and analyze market data including rental, employment, demographic, and retail data.
  • Create market summary reports for investors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in real estate financial analysis.
  • At least 4 years of management experience.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Office, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Argus and CoStar preferred.
  • Strong market analysis and site selection expertise.
  • Excellent project management and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • High integrity, strong work ethic, and results orientation.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Annual Salary Range*: $140,000 - $180,000 Annually 
Actual compensation may vary from posting based on geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
