JOB PURPOSE

Leading supply chain functional area including procurement, planning, logistic and warehouse for all operation according to budget, strategy, costs. standards and KPI's of Heraeus Medevio Costa Rica

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes for medical manufacturing, including sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the supply chain meets the needs of production, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  3. Implementing strategic supplier relationship management to ensure continuity of supply and drive cost savings.
  4. Leading the development and implementation of supply chain strategies for new product introductions and product lifecycle management.
  5. Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standard operating procedures, and quality management systems.
  6. Manage a project list, set priorities, and ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
  7. Keep an adequate organizational environment to promote the values and Culture of HMCR.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management within the medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory and material management practices, distribution, and logistics.
  • Experience with supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance management.
  • Experience in regulatory requirements such as ISO standards, FDA regulations, and other industry-specific compliance standards.
