Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving & Advancement Operations and supporting the Gift Processing Manager, the Advancement Services Coordinator will be an integral member of the Advancement team supporting gift processing, overseeing donor database management, reporting, donor crediting and recognition protocols, and internal systems to ensure efficient and accurate operations across the Advancement team. The ideal candidate combines sharp attention to detail with a strategic mindset and a commitment to supporting the creation of systems that enable relationship-based fundraising at scale.

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

 

Gift Processing and Donor Recognition:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day processing, and record-keeping of gifts pledged or received for the Advancement team
  • Partner with frontline fundraisers to ensure appropriate donor crediting and naming recognition (e.g., digital, printed, event-based)
  • Reviews all marketing and communications materials to ensure correct donor credits have been applied and routes to sponsors for approval when necessary.
  • Supports the creation of a streamlined donor crediting and recognition system

 

Data Integrity and Analysis:

  • Partner with Insights team in Marketing to execute digital & print efforts by building and pulling mail/email lists rooted in sound segmentation strategies
  • Supports the processing, and record keeping of gifts pledged or received for the Advancement team as needed

 

Operational Efficiency:

  • Document standard operating procedures related to data entry, donor crediting, segmentation, and reporting.
  • Additional tasks to support the Advancement team as needed.
  • Provide inter- and intra-departmental support as necessary
  • Provide event support to Advancement department

Qualifications


Compensation: The salary for this role is $54K. This role is represented by Local 2110 and will be paid in accordance with the BAM/UAW Local 2110 Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and eligible for benefits. Working conditions: Administrative Work (Category 1):

  • The employee sits most of the time yet may occasionally move around the office, uses fingers and hands, engages in frequent oral communication, and has close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer and preparation of data and figures.
  • Environment: The employee is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
