Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

General Information
Position: Maintenance Technician
Shift: 1st shift working Mon-Friday from 6am to 230pm, with availability to work OT.
Pay: $24-$29/hour based on experience
Location: Cleveland (East side)
Direct Hire or Temp to Hire opportunity with the company!

Duties/Responsibilities

• Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment.
• Maintain equipment according to Preventative Maintenance program and maintenance work orders.
• Responsible for facility maintenance.
• Complete and submit maintenance documentation and issue new improvement opportunities for review.
• Provide ideas and solutions to unplanned equipment downtime through design change, inspection techniques or monitoring.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls.
• Read and understand equipment manuals, design drawings and electrical schematics to complete reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Assist in 5S

Skills/Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• Willingness to support maintenance activities on other shifts or on weekends as needed.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Will be subject to pre-employment screening.
