Locaiton: Redwood City, CA 94065

2 days/week in office. Wednesday is team day and Thursday

Job Responsibilities:
Hands-on Design, Development, and Support of Software Products and Solutions
Collaborating with product management to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
Working with the product team and end-users delivering updates and status reports.
Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process.
Develop unit test plans, and test suites, and perform tests on software solutions.
Solve bugs, engage in troubleshooting, and interact with the internal developer community.
Participate in the Design & Peer Code Review process.

Qualifications and Experience:
bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of software development working experience with
6+ years of working experience in Java and Java Spring framework.
Work experience and knowledge of REST API development.
Work experience in messaging service like Kafka or RabbitMQ
Solid experience using RDBMS such as Postgres, Oracle, etc
Agile-scrum methodology experience in a software development team
DevOps and CI/CD work experience and knowledge will be a plus
Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills
Disciplined approach to unit testing and TDD where appropriate

Should have good knowledge of Agile/Scrum, continuous integration, and deployment .
Backend developer role
This person is expected to execute small projects with minimal supervision
They will be given a set of requirements, create a code, test with automation and move to production
Reporting to a team lead and HM
Opportunity to work with internal stakeholders once they are up to speed on the team
