Job description

This position involves direct labor and requires the candidate to be physically onsite. The role includes a variety of responsibilities in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. The candidate will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. Work will be conducted from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Operate related equipment and conduct tests, reporting data in prescribed formats.
  • Perform calibration and alignment checks, make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
  • Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development.
  • Use schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.
  • Gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.
  • Suggest and/or make improvements to optimize work processes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience as a Battery Assembler.
  • Experience in conducting electrical testing.
  • Experience in kitting.

Required Knowledge and Experience

The candidate should have battery knowledge, experience in building assemblies, and knowledge in the use of a digital multimeter. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required, which may include vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
