Position Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Primary Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting patient care under the supervision of providers and office management, while ensuring a welcoming and efficient clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, providers, and colleagues

  • Perform general nursing duties as directed by physicians and office managers

  • Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain and record vital signs, and update electronic health records (EHR)

  • Administer medications and injections accurately; document medication name, dosage, lot number, route, and patient response

  • Update patient records at each visit, including current medications, allergies, family history, and other pertinent information

  • Handle incoming patient calls, assist with inquiries, and relay messages to providers as needed

  • Support a collaborative team environment and maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Current, active LPN license in the state of Virginia

  • Solid understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team

  • Willingness to travel to satellite office locations as needed
