POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Facilities and Maintenance Associate performs skilled maintenance and repair work on Primary Arms property. Involves tasks in maintaining and repairing buildings, utility systems, stationary equipment on electrical, plumbing, and interior of buildings, exterior of buildings and mechanical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential functions listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the job.
To assist in maintaining and repairing buildings and performing general maintenance and repair work on company facilities.
Performs routine jobs independently or assists in more complex jobs under close supervision.
Performs general maintenance and repair work on electrical, plumbing, mechanical equipment, carpet installation and remodeling interiors of facilities.
Maintains and repairs electrical outlets, switches, fixtures and accessories, and performs related minor electrical work.
Performs carpentry work in the alteration, repair and maintenance of buildings, doors, windows, wood fixtures, and furniture.
May perform plumbing and/or electrical work to modernize a building or adapt it for new uses.
Assist in the maintenance and repair of company facilities.
Makes inspections of equipment, machinery and building accessories and appliances, to ensure proper maintenance and repair.
Will purchase parts and supplies as needed.
Will keep and prepare work orders on each job request as assigned.
Will be expected to document proper usage of time for each assigned work order.
Ensure that cleaning services meet the needs of the site.
Performs other duties as assigned.
COMPETENCIES: The competencies listed here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
Knowledge of building maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical and sanitation.
Skilled in the use of tools and equipment.
Knowledge of fire and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of two to three years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, such as an A.A. Degree with 2+ years’ experience.
Individual must have a valid driver’s license.
