LabelKing is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to join the team in San Diego, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing orders, processing shipments, and maintaining inventory organization. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Description: The candidate must:
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, and packing boxes.
Utilize FedEx, UPS, and other shipping carriers to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries.
File claims for lost or damaged shipments.
Maintain warehouse organization and ensure storage capacity is maximized.
Complete inventory reports, including history reports as requested.
Coordinate and ensure completion of the annual inventory of all warehouse products.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and arrange for necessary repairs.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat.
Enter data accurately to complete necessary shipping and inventory reports.
Support and follow written policies and procedures of the organization.
Requirements: The candidate will:
Have a minimum of 1 year of hands-on shipping/receiving experience.
Be able to operate an order picker, electric pallet jack, and electric reach truck.
Have a strong understanding of and experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems.
Have outstanding multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Possess strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
Be a results-oriented problem solver with strong decision-making abilities.
Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Be self-motivated with a strong company focus and sense of urgency.
Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player.
Be able to lift 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Have computer proficiency, including experience with UPS Worldwide, FedEx, Powership, and Warehouse Management Systems.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Forklift Certification within 90 days of job entry date.
