Job description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

In this position the CO2 Plant Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of the CO2 Plant whilst adhering to safety and quality procedures.
  • No contaminated product produced or supplied to Coca Cola or any food and beverage customers

  • Stock / Product availability to cater for the regions demands

  • Log production on IMRSA and complete production postings on NAV

  • Ensure IMS & Quality standards to be maintained (Internal & External)

  • Corrective and Preventative Maintenance as per Quality system and Objectives / Maximo and Intelex

  • Running and maintaining of all analytical equipment, including the Calibrations as per schedule

  • Conduct routine maintenance and maintaining stock of spares

  • Housekeeping on Plant, tanks and all equipment

  • Maintaining the Coca Cola & FSSC 22000 full approvals including the HACCP System

  • Identify plant abnormalities, reporting & rectifying

  • Maintain plant records for maintenance, logs and machine data

  • Comply with the Laws and Regulations applicable to the CO2 facility

Educational requirements

  • Matric Certificate with Mathematics and Science

  • Technical background

  • Trade Tested Millwright (Preferred)

Experience

  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of plant process/maintenance

  • 3 years or more of CO2 Recovery or relevant process experience

  • Food safety

  • Safety Procedures/OSH Act

Knowledge and Know-how specific to the job

  • Team Player

  • Good Communication

  • Information processing

  • Coaching and Development

  • Proficient in Google applications 

  • Analysis and Problem Solving

  • Intelex and Maximo
