Purpose of Role/Summary: 


We are looking to hire an experienced IT Support Officer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT support environments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes providing technical support, administering Office 365 and Intune, managing remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools such as ManageEngine or similar, and supporting users across hardware, software, and network systems.


Main Activities and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide first-level and escalated technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network systems
  • Support Office 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
  • Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Intune policies, device management, and compliance settings
  • Manage and maintain RMM systems such as ManageEngine or similar platforms
  • Assist users with account management, login issues, password resets, and MFA
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Perform updates and installations of software applications
  • Conduct regular maintenance and health checks on systems and devices
  • Assist in configuring, monitoring, and supporting network infrastructure
  • Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues
  • Collaborate with senior IT staff and other departments to resolve complex technical challenges
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps clearly
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory and ensure license compliance
  • Deliver user training sessions on software tools, security awareness, and IT best practices
  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing and following security protocols
  • Stay current with emerging threats, technologies, and industry standards
  • Escalate unresolved or high-priority issues appropriately
  • Perform any other duties relevant to the role as required



Required Skills and Experience: 


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical IT support role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 administration and troubleshooting
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management
  • Experience with RMM tools such as ManageEngine, NinjaOne, Atera, or similar
  • CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
  • Familiarity with help desk systems and ITSM platforms
  • Proficiency in Windows environments, with experience in macOS and Linux an advantage
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a proactive, user-focused approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices
  • Comfortable working in both onsite and remote support environments
  • Capable of producing clear, concise documentation
  • Committed to confidentiality, security, and ethical standards in IT


Further Info: 

  • Working Hours are 09:00 - 18:00 Sunday to Thursday as per the departmental flextime arrangement
  • The role is in Amman, Jordan
