We are seeking a Principle Systems Integration & Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in Aurora, Colorado for the role of an Integration and Test Engineer.
What You Will Do
In this role, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers who are leading the industry in ground systems solutions.
The Integration and Test Engineer supports the Product Owner in completing tasks for Features and Capabilities requested by the government in support of government-led test events.
The Integration and Test Engineer also assists the Product Owner and Team in planning the team’s scope to complete them efficiently during each program increment.
Responsibilities include supporting various government-led enterprise mission events, supporting team’s backlog, supporting the team during program increment planning, being involved the team’s capacity, participating in retrospectives to continuously improve after each program increment, elaborating and developing test plans and procedures, addressing/prioritizing issues as found in the system, and identifying results.
The Integration and Test Engineer also participates in various program reviews and presentations to the customer as well as senior program management.
Support the Product Owner that oversees and provides daily direction to the assigned Product Team
Helps to manage the team’s backlog and capacity during each program increment
Plan and support various customer-led mission test events
Regularly interact with the End-User by managing and nurturing the business relationship, managing expectations vs. scope of contract, proactively addressing emerging needs, and identifying results.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and align Product Team’s priorities with Test Cross Product Lead.
Works independently, determines & develops approach to solutions
Willingness to travel in support of offsite testing and meetings
Work in an Agile program environment
Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado and at customer sites
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant systems integration and test experience.
Experience with systems engineering lifecycle.
Experience developing test procedures that exercise internal interfaces between applications, Experience with systems engineering principles and activities, Experience testing software running on Linux based operating systems, Experience integrating, troubleshooting, problem isolation of software / containerized applications, Experience developing test procedures and tools that capture performance-based metrics in support of requirement sell-off
Experience in system, software and hardware development lifecycle models (waterfall and Agile)
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience in systems Integration and/or Test Engineering experience on a prototype / pursuit program, Experience in Systems Engineer process development and deployment,
Experience working in an Agile or DevOps development environment
