Payment Support Specialist

Job Overview: The candidate for this position will be responsible for supporting the Bank’s internal and external customers through daily involvement in payment operations.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting the bank’s Automated Clearing House (ACH) functions.
• Incoming and outgoing ACH files; performing daily wire functions, including processing outgoing wire requests from branches, internal departments and commercial online banking.
• Posting incoming wires.
• Serving as telephone and email support to other bank employees, and performing other account maintenance.
• Preparing and/or reviewing daily reports; processing ACH disputes; ensuring the department adheres to regulatory guidelines.

Requirements for the position include:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• The ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to work late and/or flexible hours

Preferred qualifications for the role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
