Job description

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Strategy & Planning Consultant who will work closely with the broader Strategy & Transformation team, Shared Services Operations' leadership team, partners and clients to drive strategic change and transformation, and deliver high-value strategic outcomes.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop, refine and evolve SSO’s strategy, Target Operating Model, strategic roadmap and strategic narrative
  • Proactively Identify and develop high-value strategic initiatives
  • Develop and implement high-value strategic routines
  • Design and coordinate regular strategic planning sessions for the leadership team
  • Drive the delivery of strategic content for SSO, Global Operations, the COO and enterprise strategic routines including Business Reviews, Enterprise Strategic Planning and Enterprise Investment Planning
  • Drive strategic problem solving for the SSO leadership team
  • Proactively identify high-value strategic problems, design approach frameworks, and develop recommended solutions to those high-value problems
  • Enable and accelerate the overall execution of SSO’s strategy and transformation
  • Drive the execution of key strategic initiatives  

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Top tier Strategy and/or Management Consulting experience
  • Experience driving strategic change and transformation
  • Strong critical thinking, analytic and strategic problem-solving skills
  • A clear and concise communication style that can simplify complexity and accelerate consensus building, decision-making and alignment
  • Strong execution skills with a focus on delivering strategic outcomes
  • Experience within financial services industry, preferably in a similar role


Job Expectations:

  • ​Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

New York City Pay Range:

$133,300-$237,100

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$133,300.00 - $237,100.00
