Shift Details: Contract

Schedule: 8-10 hours / 1-2 days per week (days are negotiable)

Compensation: Starting at $200/hour, including travel time; additional compensation for emergency consultation

Location: VOA - Northern Twin Cities

About the job: Deliver psychiatric services and medication management to adolescent clients receiving mental health services throughout VOA as mutually agreed upon by the provider and Volunteers of America MN/WI (VOAMN) - virtually OR on-site.

Essentials:

• The provider will include identified caregivers/legal guardians in sessions and consultations for psychiatric services and updates; 1-2 days per week, guaranteed to be paid for 8 hours each week
• Participate in general review and discussion of clients with multidisciplinary mental health staff in scheduled clinical case consultation meetings
• Provide informal client consultation to the staff of VOA MN/WI's Programs where needed
• Utilize e-prescribing within VOA MN/WI's Electronic Health Record and produce documentation for each treated client's medical record for all clinical encounters including but not limited to assessments and follow up visits
• Complete documentation within 48 hours of encounter, meet the E/M billing and industry best practice standards, and be completed in our EHR.
• Maintain necessary technology resources accessible and in good working order to effectively deliver telehealth services, including a working computer (provided by VOA) with a webcam, high speed internet, VOA MN/WI's Microsoft Office 365 credentials for email, Teams, and our EHR.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed Psychiatrist in the State of Minnesota
• Experience providing psychiatric services to adolescents
