DEPARTMENT

Transfer Agency department is responsible for several functions, including, but not limited to, Dealing, Registration, Settlement, Reconciliations, Distributions, management accounting and client reporting & New Business

ROLE

Reporting to the Team Leader, India Fund Shared Services, you will be responsible for setting up and maintenance of Funds and Share Classes for all New and Existing Clients in Ireland Transfer Agency, Also, ensuring that they are completed within service level and to the highest of standards.

The department provides a third party fund administration service to numerous fund management companies covering the full range of shareholder servicing functions including New Business, dealing, registration, settlements, distributions, commissions and statements.

REPORTNG MANAGER

Team Leader

 The key responsibilities of the role include:

• To support BAU fund static data work as part of BAU and ensure all deliverables are met

• All fund setups are completed in full and evidenced by completing a checklist.

• Proactively keep Team Leader up to date on queries / tasks that may require additional time to resolve 

• Analyze procedures and processes to identify gaps

• Carry out quality checks and provide help and support to team members as required and in line with the quality function findings

 • To work closely with the Technical Coordinator and Team Leader to review the process for gaps if any and suggest improvements.

• Provide assistance and coaching to new members of the team.  Act as a point of reference for their queries

 • Fulfil additional, relevant, tasks appropriate to the role and business requirements

• Be flexible in supporting client needs during peak activity or to resolve urgent queries

• Manage review queues and mailboxes and ensure that questions and/or escalated issues are addressed promptly ensuring that any outstanding issues are followed through to resolution.

• Detail understanding of end to end process and strive to develop into a Subject Matter Expert.

• Work independently and proactively to resolve any potential issues.

• Ensure proper preventative and detective controls are in place for the TA functions you are responsible for.

• Identify trends, concerns and root cause of errors and recommends additional controls to improve quality/timelines.

• Foster & promote commitment to a strong risk management culture in TA.

• Mentor junior partners and drive their productivity and accuracy as per set benchmark

• Represent the area in relation to System enhancement/ change projects

• Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.

Skills/ Qualifications:

The successful candidate will benefit from having:  

§ Demonstrate good understanding of the Mutual Fund Industry and the different Funds in the EMEA market

§ Demonstrate a good understanding of Transfer Agency line of business and it’s upstream downstream activities.

§ Working knowledge of Multifonds is desirable

§ Knowledge of QIAIF,RIAIF,CCF,UCITS,ICAV & Property Funds is key

§ Proficiency in MS Excel.

§ Excellence in execution and keen eye for detail.

§ Strong ability and keen interest to analyze and interpret data linkages.

§ Ability to build very good relationship across locations and functions.

§ Quick learner and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

§ Understanding own limitations

§ Effective Communication and presentation skills

§ To embrace change and proactively address issues through appropriate escalations

§ Flexible, adaptable and willingness to learn
