Parts Advisor

Pay: Commission with base of $3k. Earning range of $70k-$75k annually.

Schedule: Tues-Saturday

GROWTH = OPPORTUNITY

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • 1–3 years of experience in automotive parts or service departments, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced dealership
  • Strong understanding of automotive parts, vehicle systems, and manufacturer parts catalogs (especially Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, RAM)
  • ASE Parts Specialist certification is a plus
  • CDK experience is preferred
  • Ability to navigate technology with ease
  • Bi-Lingual Spanish speaking is required
  • Confident in upselling or suggesting related parts or accessories
  • Able to manage inventory, track orders, and ensure the accuracy of parts fulfillment
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills with both internal (technicians, service advisors) and external (retail and wholesale customers) stakeholders.
  • Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Responsibilities

As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
  • Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
  • Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
  • Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
  • Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
  • Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
  • Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.
